What is the last thing you learned?

I recently learned about Dr. Kathleen Martinez and her teams’ quest to find Cleopatras tomb.

The Dominican lawyer turned archaeologist has dedicated several years to uncovering the queens final resting place and it is believed she is close.

I first learned about her story through a now viral tiktok talking about Dr. Martinez, how far her and her team has come and how far they plan to go.

I have mixed feelings about this story in particular and here are my reasons. Maybe Cleo didn’t want to be found, perhaps that’s why it’s so hard to find her and if that’s the case, shouldn’t she be allowed to you know, rest in peace. But the curious cat/archaeologist wanna be in me is hoping she does because well, it’s CLEOPATRA!
